Ausmose Pty Ltd was founded in 2003 as a subsidiary of the Dulhunty Power Pty Ltd. They re-registered the Ausplast paste formulation in a ready to use bandage product, then marketed it to the power industry. The formulation remained unchanged from the original formulation registered in 1994 . The only change made was the end use profile and method of application that was altered.
In 2008 Dulhunty sold the business to Preschem Pty Ltd, who are Australia’s leading specialists  in the manufacture of remedial and after market wood preservatives. The Preschem business group has grown to incorporate:

However, Ausmose has not rested on its laurels since being acquired by Preschem. In 2015 we completed a minor formulation change to omit Potassium Dichromate from its formulation. This additive no longer served any purpose in the product, as it was an additive to prevent corrosion in metal pails, which was how the product was originally sold. This makes the product much safer for the end user and the environment.
